DIGITAL ART
I always envied admired artists who could effortlessly draw and paint. Sadly, my own artistic skills were stuck at a middle school level for years. For added context, the infamous “S” drawing of the 1990’s was where my drawing talent ended. I lived with the assumption that I didn't have this particular innate artistic talent, but I desperately wanted it!
<<Cue the 2020 pandemic & lockdown>>In an attempt to keep my little cherubs occupied, we started watching Art for Kids Hub drawing tutorials on YouTube. Rob Jensen's positive, simple approach to teaching drawing was (and still is) captivating! With his guidance, I realized I could actually create something halfway decent on paper. But what about the adorable digital creations of Pixar?
<<Cue Skillshare and more YouTube>> I’ve watched countless tutorials and my goal is to master a fun, lively Pixar-inspired art style that is my own.
The pieces in this gallery are 100% my original creations. Each one has its own name, which only felt right after the amount of work I poured into each of them. I hope you enjoy this glimpse into my artistic journey so far!
